Sara’s career began as an artist and art instructor, teaching at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, at a private school, and in her own home. Students who went to her home were often enchanted by her “Garden Rooms” (outdoor living spaces). Several even asked her to help them create similar living spaces for their homes.
Sara soon discovered that working with nature, designing garden vignettes, and helping people create beauty both inside and outside their homes was even more rewarding than creating on canvas. Thus, GARDENStyle was born.
